NASSAU- A delivery driver grabbed an officer’s butt as she searched his vehicle.
Wilson Dean, a driver at Bahamas Food Services, pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting the 24-year-old corrections officer at the prison’s security checkpoint.
Dean had come to deliver groceries to the prison on November 9.
He grabbed the woman’s behind as she leaned into his vehicle to search for contraband.
The shocked woman spun around and slapped Dean. Then, she reported the matter to police.
Dean, 46, denied the act of indecency when quizzed by police. But he admitted the crime in court.
Dean was fined $1,500 or three months in prison and ordered to pay his victim $500 in compensation.
He’s also been placed on probation for two years. He’ll be sent to prison for six months if he violates his probation.
