Nassau, BAHAMAS- Police are investigating the broad daylight murder of a gang member who was accused of two murders.
Katraz Coakley, who was affiliated with the Grove Hot Niggas, was shot and killed by a masked gunman dressed in dark clothing in Yellow Elder Gardens.
The murder happened after 3pm on Lightbourne Street, near to Seymour Street, where Coakley lived.
Police described the killer as Coakley’s “accomplice.” According to police, Coakley was dressed similarly to his killer.
At the time of his death, Coakley was on bail for the April 2018 murder of Christian Moree and the attempted murders of Romello Moss and Tarsman Clarke.
He was also accused of the fatal shooting of Roland Williams in June 2018.
Coakley was recently released from prison. He was sentenced to one year in prison last year for violating his bail conditions by failing to charge his ankle monitor.
