Nassau, BAHAMAS- A man who robbed his nine-year-old stepdaughter of her innocence by raping her has been jailed for seven years.
The stepfather’s name has been omitted to protect his victim.
He was convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse with a dependent last July.
The court heard that the man began molesting the child months after he married her mother in 2017.
The girl said the man would have sex with her in the marital bed while her mother was at work.
