NASSAU- Police have charged the man who allegedly killed one man and injured another in a shooting in Coconut Grove.
Donte “Drey” Deveaux, 25, appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney today charged with the May 2 murder of Emmanuel Brown and the attempted murder of Samuel “Fish” Joseph.
Both victims were hanging out at a car wash on Seventh Street when a gunman prosecutors say is Deveaux opened fire on them.
Brown died on the scene and Joseph was treated for gunshot injuries to the mouth.
Deveaux was not required to enter pleas to the charges.
He was remanded to prison and will next return to court on July 28.
