NASSAU- A man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he shot a 14-year-old boy.
Prosecutors allege that Allen McKinney, 23, shot the teen in the chest as he sat on the front porch of his Kemp Road around 2am on August 27.
McKinney, who also lives in Kemp Road, is also charged with the attempted murder of Kwondrick Lowe, who was not hurt in the incident.
McKinney was not required to enter pleas to the attempted murder charges when he appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville.
He was denied bail and returns to court on December 9.
At the time of the alleged incident, McKinney was on bail for the June 13, 2021 murder of Francisco Smith.
The 29-year-old was shot multiple times while on Sr. James Road.
