Two face charges in fatal drive-by shooting

Kervon Stewart (left) and William Wong face drive-by shooting charges

An alleged killer and his accomplice are facing charges over a drive-by shooting that killed one man and seriously injured three others.

Prosecutors say Kervon Stewart, of Market Street, murdered Renaldo Nairn in a drive-by shooting at Rosewood Street in Pinewood Gardens on July 16.

He’s also accused of the attempted murders of Antonio Pratt, Lamar Wilchcombe and Travis Stuart.

Prosecutors claim that William “CJ” Wong, of Soldier Road, abetted Stewart in the crimes.

The victims were in a front a home when someone fired at them from a black car.

Stewart and Young did not have to enter pleas to the charges when they appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Monday.

They’ve been denied bail and return to court on November 26. Prosecutors plan on sending the case to the Supreme Court with a voluntary bill of indictment on that date.
