NASSAU- A woman who died while being arrested by police died of natural causes, according to an autopsy.
Vonchelle Saunders had a fatal heart attack on January 15 at her home on Fritz Lane.
Since Saunders died of natural causes, a coroner’s inquest will not be held.
Police officers went to the home in response to a disturbance. They reportedly met Saunders naked and throwing bottles.
Saunders ran inside the home and allegedly continued throwing bottles at the officers. She became unresponsive after they subdued her.
