NASSAU-Two men have been cleared as suspects in the shooting of a policeman during an armed robbery.
Police arrested the men soon after the brazen shooting of the officer near the domestic terminal at the Lynden Pindling International Airport after 5pm Saturday, October 2.
A gunman shot the officer in his arm as he escorted a Bahamasair ticket agent to make a cash deposit.
After wounding the policeman, the gunman fled in a white Nissan Cube.
However, police released the men without filing charges.
Investigations are continuing.
