NASSAU- A policewoman was seriously injured in a shooting Sunday night.
The reserve corporal was among two women shot by the occupants of a small gray car at Peter Street around 9:30pm on December 5.
Both women reportedly live in the area.
The officer at the Nassau Street Police received gunshot wounds to the stomach. The other woman was shot in the thigh.
Police said that they are both in stable condition.
Meanwhile, police are investigating another shooting on Sunday.
Police said that around 9pm a man was shot in the face by an unknown gunman at Polhemus Street.
The gunman fled on foot and his victim is in serious condition at hospital.
