NASSAU- A man whose murder case ended with an nolle last year was shot dead tonight.
Dwight Jones, otherwise known as Whitey, was shot 10 times while at Pinedale.
According to police, Jones was sitting in a car in front of a car when two gunmen approached him. Jones ran from the vehicle and the killers chased shot him multiple times while chasing him.
He was accused of the February 2017 murder of Benjamin Anderson, who was shot dead in front of a home on Ida Street.
Jones is the 70th murder victim of the year.
