NASSAU- A man was shot when he tried to rescue a woman from an attack.
The victim was walking along the Western Esplanade with two women just before 11pm Sunday when a group of men approached them.
Police said one of the men started to choke one of the women. Her friend was shot in the upper body as he came to her aid.
The victim is in stable condition at hospital.
