GRAND BAHAMA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night in Grand Bahama.
The incident happened in the Pinedale area of Eight Mile Rock around 10pm.
Officers sent to the scene found the man unresponsive in the street. He was taken to hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.
The unidentified man was walking on the side of the road when he was struck by a light-colored car, whose driver fled the scene.
