Nassau, BAHAMAS- A former wanted suspect has been charged with a July 26 shooting that left a 28-year-old man paralyzed.

Prosecutors say Shaquon Dean, 28, shot Ricardo Bullard in the head and back before he fled the scene.

The incident happened outside Bullard’s home in Pinewood Gardens around 10pm.

Police arrested Dean for attempted murder after circulating a wanted poster for his arrest.

Dean didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he made his first appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied. However, he can seek bail in the Supreme Court.
