HARBOUR ISLAND-A family is safe after their yacht caught fire at the Valentines Resort and Marina in Harbour Island on Saturday.
The fire completely destroyed the 66-foot Sunseeker with a reported value of $2.3 million.
The yacht’s owner Alejandro Capo, of Miami, Florida, four relatives and a captain were onboard when the fire started. But they jumped overboard and swam to safety.
No other boats were damaged.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
