Boat stolen in Florida found in Freeport

A boat stolen in Florida was found in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

Acting on information, officers from the Marine Unit went to an apartment complex on Kings Road on November 3.

The officers found a tan 26-foot Scott hull with a 250 horsepower outboard engine.

Police said the boat had no registration and was damaged.

They later learned that the owner had reported the boat stolen from Pompano Beach.

Investigations are continuing.
