Man charged with murder of ‘accomplice’

NASSAU-A man has been charged with the murder of his alleged accomplice.

Prosecutors say Miguel Lewis, 26, was shooting at four men on bail for murder when he accidentally shot his accomplice, Ken Lewis Jr, in the head on July 25.

Lewis appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney on August 2 charged with the murder of Ken Lewis.

He’s also accused of the attempted murders of Donald Cox and Leander Cox, who are brothers, and their friends Marquin Williams and Randy Mackey at Pigeon Plum Street in Pinewood Gardens.

Lewis did have to enter pleas to the charges.

He’s been remanded to prison until October 11.

However, he has the right to seek bail in the Supreme Court.
