NASSAU- A woman was arrested after police found an assault rifle with 100 rounds of ammunition in her home.
Officers from the Grove Police Station executed a search warrant on the home on Derby Road in Yellow Elder Gardens around 9pm on Thursday, February 9.
In addition to the assault rifle, the officers also found two guns that weren’t real. They allegedly found an imitation revolver and imitation assault rifle.
It’s also against the law to have fake weapons.
Investigations are continuing.
