ABACO-An angry driver who deliberately ran into a man with his car has pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous instrument.
Magistrate Ancella Evans on Tuesday freed Cordell Culmer, 22, on $2,000 self-signed bail until she sentences him on April 6.
Culmer, of Cooper’s Town, got into a petty row with Ricardo McIntosh over the use of DJ equipment on March 28.
McIntosh was the deejay at the event held on a cay.
But Culmer thought he could do a better job. However, Culmer didn’t get a chance to show off his skills because McIntosh didn’t let him use his equipment.
When they returned to Cooper’s Town, Culmer turned his Honda Fit into a weapon and struck Mcintosh from behind, throwing him into the air. A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.
Then, McIntosh got into his van and chased after Culmer. He rammed the Honda Fit from behind, causing a three-car collision. After the crash Culmer ran into a home. He remained at the home until his arrest.
