A 26-year-old has been charged with a shooting that killed one man and seriously injured another man in a drive-by shooting.
Prosecutors have charged Lecardo Fredrix, of Rupert Dean Lane, with murder and attempted murder over the October 16 shooting at Dumping Ground Corner.
Devon Brown was killed and Javon Rolle survived the shooting.
Since he’ll be tried in the Supreme Court, Fredrix didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he made his initial appearance before Magistrate Ambrose Armbrister today.
Fredrix, who is represented by Attorney Philip Hilton, returns to court on December 1 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
He’ll remain in custody until then unless a Supreme Court judge grants him bail.
