Nassau- A man was shot and killed after unknown gunmen opened fire on his car on Sunday, March 27.
Investigators believe that the gunmen ambushed the victim as he drove a grey Toyota Passo north on Baillou Hill Road.
Wounded by the shooting, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed into a fence in front of Legil Auto Sales on Palm Tree Avenue.
Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The incident is the seventh murder in the Coconut Grove community since March 7. So far, 19 people were murdered this month.
Police suspect that a gang war is behind the rash of killings in the Coconut Grove community.
