Nassau, BAHAMAS – An American woman and two other men are behind bars after being accused of plotting to kill her husband.
Prosecutors say Lindsay Shiver, 36, her alleged lover, Terrance Bethel, 28, and 29-year-old Faron Newbold conspired to kill her estranged husband Robert Shiver.
Police officers allegedly uncovered the murder plot while investigating a break-in at Grabber’s Bar and Grill on Guana.
The officers allegedly came across WhatsApp messages detailing the plan while searching the phone of a suspect in the break-in.
The accused were not required to enter a plea to the charge when they appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on Friday.
They return to court on October 5.
