Woman accused of inciting shooting denied bail

NASSAU – A woman who allegedly encouraged her boyfriend to shoot another woman outside a bar has been charged with abetment to attempted murder.

Nashante Hall, 25, of Foxdale, faced the charge when she made her first court appearance before Magistrate Samuel McKinney on April 13.

The charge stems from a shooting outside Da Blitz Bar on Village Road.

Prosecutors allege that Hall got into a fight with Javon Saunders while in the club.
Club security parted them.

After the altercation, Hall allegedly told Saunders that she knew people “with bodies under their belt and she could just make a call.”

Prosecutors say Hall told her boyfriend about the incident and he shot Saunders in after calling her over to his car.

The alleged shooter remains at large.
Hall was not required to plead to the charge and was denied bail.

However, she can seek bail in the Supreme Court.

Hall is next due to appear before Magistrate McKinney on July 25.
