Nassau, BAHAMAS- A man wanted by police for attempted murder was injured in a shooting that killed his friend.
Wanted suspect Romeo Cooper, otherwise known as Lil Roe, was at Hay and Market Streets when he was shot by a lone gunman on July 20. The same man fatally shot Frantwion “Lefty” Newton in the same incident.
The victims were both hanging out when they were ambushed by the shooter.
Police have charged 25-year-old Davanno Miller with murder and attempted murder. He’s also charged with possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger Cooper’s life.
Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley remanded Miller to prison at his initial court appearance.
Miller is next due in court on October 31.
