Nassau, Bahamas – A wanted suspect is behind bars after being charged with the murders of two brothers.
Omar Thompson Jr is accused of the April 22 murders of Tyrone Oliver Jr and Shakaur Oliver.
The brothers were shot to death while in a car in the parking lot of a grocery store around 2 am.
Police said they believed that the murders were gang-related.
Thompson was not required to enter pleas to the murders charges.
His next court date is August 22. At that time, it’s expected that prosecutors will fast track the case to the Supreme Court with the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
