Nassau, BAHAMAS- The two men accused of plotting with Lindsay Shiver to kill her husband have each been released on $20,000 bail.
Shiver’s alleged lover, Terrance Bethel, and accused hitman Faron Newbold Jr, were released from the Central Police Station Thursday afternoon after signing their bail papers.
The suspects’ parents signed their bail.
Prosecutors say, while in Abaco, the trio hatched a plot to kill Shiver’s estranged husband, Robert Shiver, on July 16.
Police investigating a break-in stumbled across plan while investigating a burglary at Grabber’s Bar and Grill in Guana Cay.
They allegedly found WhatsApp messages detailing the plot in the suspect’s phone.
As a result, Bethel, Shiver and Newbold were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder on July 21.
They were remanded to prison on July 28.
However, they were granted emergency bail after the prosecution withdrew an initial objection to bail after speaking with Mr Shiver.
Meanwhile, Mrs Shiver will remain in custody until at least August 9.
She’s expected to appear in court to provide the court details of where she live in Nassau once her $100,000 cash bond is posted.
