NASSAU- The family of taxi driver Robert Bethell are fearing the worst since he vanished without a trace a month ago.
The 79-year-old reportedly picked up two passengers from Atlantis around 4pm on August 21 to take them to the airport.
It’s unclear if Bethell ever reached his destination, as police have reportedly not retrieved surveillance footage from the airport. His taxi, a grey van, is also missing.
His family raised the alarm after Bethell failed to return home by 7pm that evening and they couldn’t reach him by phone.
They started to retrace his tracks—and alerted police.
The family have formed their own search parties to no avail.
Anyone information concerning Bethell’s disappearance should call police on 502-9991. Bethel is 5ft9in with a slim build.
