Man arrested for Nassau Village shooting

NASSAU- Police have arrested a man in relation to a shooting that took place on Saturday.

Officers responded to a shooting that happened at Stack Avenue in Nassau Village around 9pm.

When they arrived, they met a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.

According to police, the occupants of a “small Japanese vehicle” opened fire on the man as he walked along the street.

Meanwhile, police in Eleuthera arrested a man after they allegedly found him with a loaded gun.

Officers allegedly found a loaded 9mm pistol while executing a search warrant on a hone in South Palmetto Point on Saturday.
