
NASSAU- Charges have been dismissed against a man accused of the statutory rape of a teenage girl last year.
Police arrested Anton Pratt, 19, on accusations that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl on July 11 while at a pool party.
The girl was unable to consent to the act because she’s under 16.
Pratt’s case ended without a trial after the prosecution presented a nolle prosequi on August 12.
However, was not acquitted and the case can be reinstated.
