NASSAU-A man died after a shooting Wednesday night.
According to police, the found the wounded man at Moore Avenue shortly before 9pm after following a ShotSpotter alert.
ShotSpotter is a gunshot detection system that sends the location of a shooting.
The man, identified as Angelo “AJ” Lightbourne, died a short time later in hospital.
About an hour later, police responded to a second shooting at Woods Alley.
Police said the occupants of grey car opened fire on three men, injuring one of them.
The man was taken to hospital but authorities have not provided an update on his condition.
The investigation into both shootings is ongoing.
