Nassau, BAHAMAS- A man on bail for murder was shot dead by an accomplice, police said.
The incident happened around 3:15pm on Sunday at Lightbourne Street in Yellow Elder Gardens.
According to preliminary reports, two masked men, wearing dark clothing and gloves, were running west along Lightbourne Street when one of them pulled a gun and shot the other, killing him. The shooter continued running and fled the scene.
According to police, the deceased is in his mid-20s. Police said they recovered a magazine for a high-powered weapon near his body.
It’s unclear why the police described the men as accomplices and why they were running.
