NASSAU-A magistrate on Friday sentenced gun suspect Dwight Rolle to three months in prison for breaking his bail conditions.
Rolle faced a maximum sentence of five years’ imprisonment and a $50,000 fine.
The 23-year-old from United Estates in San Salvador admitted the bail breach at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
A Supreme Court granted Rolle bail pending trial on February 22, 2018. Rolle had to sign in at the San Salvador Police Station on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays before 6pm.
However, Rolle ignored this bail condition from August 28, 2019 until June 24, 2020.
