Man on murder bail remanded on gun rap

NASSAU- An accused killer is back in prison after being charged with illegal gun possession.

Police officers arrested Perez Cuffe, 22, of Flamingo Gardens on October 25 after they allegedly found him with a .45mm loaded with seven rounds of ammunition.

Cuffe denied the charge at his arraignment before Magistrate Samuel McKinney.

At the time of his arrest, Cuffe was on bail for the May 12, 2020 murder of Richard Bain and the attempted murder of Thorio Ferguson.

Cuffe returns to court on November 9 for the gun case. The prosecution needed time to check if Cuffe is complying with his bail conditions in the murder case.
