ANDROS – Authorities are investigating a boat accident that killed a man and injured two others off Moxey Town, Andros.
According to a Royal Bahamas Defence Force press release, a 16-foot boat carrying two off-duty RBDF officers and a civilian struck a reef Monday night.
The men were thrown from the vessel. The civilian died in the incident.
Fishermen rescued the officers and took them to the Mangrove Cay Clinic for treatment. They have since been airlifted to New Providence for further medical care.
