NASSAU- A Nigerian man who spat in a marine’s face at the Carmichael Road Detention Centre has been fined.
Prosecutors say Kelvin Okoro got into a fight with another detainee at the centre on November 26.
And Okoro spat in Chavez McDonald’s face as he parted the fight.
Okoro pleaded guilty to assault at his arraignment before Magistrate Samuel McKinney Tuesday and he was fined $150 or two months’ imprisonment.
