NASSAU- A man who admitted to having three counterfeit $100 bills has been fined.
Police found the fake bills when they searched Michael Thompson’s Honda Stream at Windsor Place on August 24.
Thompson, 53, of Sea Breeze Lane, told the officer that he received the fake notes when he sold a car for $1,800.
He pleaded guilty to possession of forged currency when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Thompson paid a $500 fine to avoid spending six months in prison.
