NASSAU- A man has been charged with a murder that police say is revenge for his brother’s death.
Brandon Evans is accused of killing Andy Johnson, who was on bail awaiting trial for the December 2, 2019 murder of Brian Evans.
Police said Johnson, 40, was at the Blue Hill Farmer’s Market around 9pm on October 7 when a gunman wearing a camouflage jacket shot him multiple times. Johnson died on the scene and the killer fled in a Nissan Cube.
Evans was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville.
Evans has been remanded to prison. His matter has been adjourned to November 30.
