Man charged with murders of hitman and bystander

A man has been charged with the murders of a suspected gang hitman and an innocent bystander.

Prosecutors say Kyle Jones is responsible for the March 6 murders of accused Mad Ass gang hitman Patrickedo Rose and Alfred McKenzie.

Both murder victims were on the Fox Hill Park around 8:45pm when police say two gunmen opened fire.

Police investigators believe that Rose, otherwise known as Ryder, was the intended target and that McKenzie was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

At the time of his death, Rose was on bail awaiting trial for six murders gang-related murders.

Jones didn’t have to enter pleas to the murder charges when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis on Monday, March 13.

Bail was denied and he’s due back in court on May 18.
