NASSAU- Police have charged a man who’s accused of killing two people on January 2.
Shervin Munnings, 28, of Strawflower Street, Montell Heights, is charged with the murders of Kevin Andrews and his girlfriend Lauranique Taylor.
Authorities said the shooting happened at a home around 3:30am.
Munnings was taken into custody soon after the incident.
He was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Magistrate Kendra Kelly on January 6.
Munnings, who was on bail for armed robbery, was denied bail on the recent charges.
He is scheduled to return to court on March 14 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment that will send the case to the Supreme Court for trial.
