NASSAU- A man whose infant son was killed in a car crash was charged on Tuesday with vehicular manslaughter.
Jameson Virgile, 27, allegedly ran the traffic light at the juncture of Soldier Road and Prince Charles Drive on February 23, 2022 and caused a three-car collision.
The van that Virgile was driving overturned.
Virgile’s two-month-old son, Jayceon, died at the scene.
Virgile was not required to enter a plea to the charge of vehicular manslaughter when he made his first court appearance before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
He was granted $10,000 bail on the condition that he signs in at the Carmichael Road Police Station on the 18th of each month before 6pm.
Virgile will return to court on November 30.
