Nassau, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old is facing charges allegations of unlawful sexual intercourse with a child he knows.
Prosecutors say Angelo McQueen, of Ridgeland Park, had illegal relations with a 14-year-old girl in December and January of 2022.
The age of consent in heterosexual relationships is 16.
McQueen didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
He was denied bail and returns to court on November 8.
