NASSAU – A 23-year-old man accused of French kissing a little boy of six was today denied bail.
Shervin Colebrook allegedly grabbed and kissed the boy while he attended a party with his mother on July 10.
Police arrested Colebrook at his home on Heritage Lane in Black Village shortly after the child’s mother filed a report with police.
Colebrook is known to the child’s family.
Colebrook faced a charge of indecent assault when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
He didn’t have to enter a plea as prosecutors intend to try him before a judge and a jury in the Supreme Court.
Prosecutors plan to fast track the case to the Supreme Court on October 28 with a voluntary bill of indictment.
