NASSAU- A man accused of the indecent assault of a 5-year-old boy has been remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections.
Jose Thompson, 41, of Caribbean Road, off Gladstone Road, allegedly committed the crime between November 1 and 30.
Since Thompson will be tried in the Supreme Court, he was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Magistrate Armbrister on Thursday.
Prosecutors plan to fast-track Thompson’s trial to the Supreme Court with a voluntary bill of indictment on February 9, 2021.
