Freeport- A man who allegedly introduced a gun to fistfight has been charged with abetment to attempted murder.
Prosecutors say Derval Hanna got into a fight with Ira Roker at Bailey Town, Bimini around 9am on Thursday, November 18.
During the fight, Maurice Cartwright allegedly passed a handgun to Hanna, who allegedly shot Roker multiple times.
Cartwright, 40, appeared before Magistrate Charlton Smith on November 25 on a charge of abetment to attempted murder.
Cartwright did not have to enter a plea to the charge.
He has been remanded to prison. He will remain in custody until his next court date on March 8, 2022 unless he’s released on bail.
Police are still searching for Hanna.
