Man, 61, held in brother’s stabbing

Police are questioning a man who is accused of stabbing his brother.

According to police, the 61-year-old man stabbed his 58-year-old brother in the the upper body during an argument.

The incident happened around 11:40pm on January 2 in Deadman’s Cay, Long Island where he remains in serious condition.

The injured brother was airlifted to a hospital in New Providence, where he remains in serious condition.

And, officers in Grand Bahama are investigating a stabbing at a nightclub that sent a man to hospital.

Police said the 26-year-old was at a club on Logwood Road when he got into a fight with a man he knows around 12:45am on January 2.

As a result, he was stabbed multiple times. Police said the stabbing victim in serious but stable condition at the hospital.

Meanwhile, over in Bimini, police have arrested a 22-year-old man after he allegedly shot a man in the face.

The shooting happened at a club in Alice Town, Bimini after 11pm on January 2.

The 26-year-old victim was airlifted to a New Providence hospital. Police said he is in serious condition.
