DEU seizes 5 kilos of cocaine at airport

Officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit are looking for the owners of 5½ kilos of cocaine.

DEU officers and Bahamas Customs Officers found the drugs secreted away in boxes that had been shipped into the country when they carried out a search warrant on a courier company at the Lynden Pindling International Airport on Tuesday.

The drugs have a wholesale street value of $80,000.
