Cops probe third murder in less than a week

NASSAU- Police are investigating another murder, the third in less than a week.

The latest fatal shooting happened around 9pm on Saturday, November 12 at Foster Street in Chippingham.

Police said the occupants of a light-colored van opened fire on two men shortly after they arrived at a business on a moped.

One of those men was shot multiple times and died at the scene. The second man, who was uninjured, is assisting police with their investigations.

Since Wednesday, three men have been shot dead. Two of those murders happened in New Providence and the other in Exuma.

Police have asked anyone with information concerning these incidents to call them at 502-9991 or call Crime Stoppers at 328-8477.
