NASSAU – A cop and a man on bail for murder have been charged in connection to a shooting that left a man dead.
Corporal Darren Davis and his cousin Stephon Davis are accused of conspiring to murder Jayson Whitfield on December 2.
The day after the alleged plot, Whitfield, the officer’s alleged romantic rival, was found shot dead in Garden Hills.
Police are still looking for the person who pulled the trigger.
The men will remain in custody unless granted bail by a Supreme Court judge. A bail hearing is set for next week.
