NASSAU-Police arrested a suspect in a revenge shooting with a loaded gun.
Cops caught Jarvis Joseph with a loaded 9mm pistol weeks after prosecutors say he tried to kill Vernal Johnson, who’s accused of shooting him back in 2018.
Johnson, of Dumping Ground Corner, is on bail for the 2018 murder of Rico Taylor and the attempted murders of Anfernee Major and Joseph.
Prosecutors allege that Joseph, Shacardo Culmer and Demetrius Brown shot Johnson at Graham Drive in Yellow Elder Gardens on August 7.
His alleged accomplices were charged last month and remanded to prison.
Johnson was in his car when gunmen opened fire on him from a Toyota Passo.
Although shot multiple times, Johnson drove himself to hospital.
Police arrested Joseph, 21, at Dunmore Avenue, after they found the loaded gun in his pants pocket on August 30.
He pleaded guilty to possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition at his arraignment before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
Joseph claimed he found the gun in bushes and had planned to sell it.
