Two friends of Lavard McKenzie are accused of his murder.
Franklyn Glinton, 20, and a 17-year-old boy were charged today with the murder of 17-year-old McKenzie.
McKenzie was last seen alive on August 27 . Detectives launched a murder investigation after his body was found in bushes near his home on London Ave in the Miller’s Heights on August 30.
The accused killers did not have to enter a a plea to the murder charge when they appeared before the chief magistrate.
They were both denied bail and return to court on December 15.
