NASSAU- Police are investigating after two friends were murdered within days of each other.
Tekeil Tynes, 34, was gunned down four days after his friend Kevin Andrews was shot dead along with his girlfriend during a home-invasion on Mantol Street in Montell Heights on January 2.
Police said Tynes was at a bar on Robinson Road and Washington Street when a lone gunman wearing a ski mask shot him multiple times.
His friend, Andrews, was shot dead while in bed with his girlfriend Lauranique Taylor, who was also fatally shot.
Police said Andrews had an altercation with Shervin Munnings suspected of his murder a short time before the incident.
Police are trying to figure out if both incidents are related.
